Description project
The Hanoi - Ninh Binh highway is a 84 km highway, which was part of the program to develop the network of highways in Vietnam. The highway connects two traffic hubs of Hanoi and Ninh Binh belonging to the North South highway route.
According to the design, Hanoi - Ninh Binh highway has a total length of 84 km; The first point is Km 179 on National Highway 1A in Hanoi; The last point is Km 265 + 600 on National Highway 10, at the Ninh Binh - Phat Diem connecting section. The route is 84 km long, designed for 6 lanes, 4 lanes was built at the first phase and was upgraded to 6 complete lanes at the next phase, the designed speed is 100 - 120 km/h. In addition to the 22 m wide road in which each lane is 3 m, the road has a median strip, emergency stop strip, safety strip and grass roadside. Upon completion, there will be 14 river crossings, overpasses and 8 interchanges of different level from existing traffic systems.
