Description project
The project to build and expand national highway 1A through the territory of Quang Tri province has a total length of nearly 60 km starting at Km 717 + 100 and ending at Km 791A + 500. The project with a total investment of about VND3,856 billion was assigned by the Ministry of Transport to be the Project Management Unit 6 as the project investor representative (for sections using government bonds) competent state agency (for projects implementing BOT contracts).
According to the assessment, with the important economic role and geographic position of Quang Tri province in the North Central region, the extension of the upper section is the leading solution for accelerating the development of the whole area and is an important part, in line with the development orientation of Vietnam's traffic along the north-south axis.
